Why should we bother to update our profiles with our Yor Tzeit information?
I am a Member and when I tried to log on for the first time with just my Email address, System would give me an error.
- A Quick Link was sent to all members with Email addresses on file. This will enable you to log in quickly. If you still have a problem, try entering your email address without a password and click on enter arrow. System will take you to a new form that will allow you to enter email address and then click on Forgot Password button. Your temporary password will be sent to you. Or, just contact the support team.
I am a Member and want to log in with a different email address.
- First log in with your existing email address. This is important because it will link you to the account on file and enable you to view your transaction history. Once you are logged in, you have the ability to change your email address, password and much more.
I am a Member but never provided the Shul with an email address.
- Click on New User: Register Now on the top right of the home page, and a new window will open. Complete the information on the Form and submit. We will then validate the account. If there is an existing account, we will add the email address you provided into your existing account. This will automatically link you to your existing Account.
I am not a Member but would like to join your email list.
- Just go to our Home page and enter your email address in the lower right side of the screen, "Join Our Email List"
Is there a way to know in which Bayis a particular tefillah is taking place?
- Yes, Click on View Calendar. This will place the Calendar into the center panel. Then select the DAY view. You will see the mokom for each tefillah
I clicked on Photo Gallery but no photos display.
- Photo Gallery is reserved for Members only
I have reviewed my bill online and think there is a mistake on my account.
- Mistakes are possible. Please contact Saul Horowitz at 718-339-7785.
I am reviewing my balance online and only see credits.
- Please note, the system has a number of filters that can be set. Date range, open transactions only, debits, credits or both. Please check your current filter settings.
When I pay online, I notice a line for Convenience Fee. What is that? And do I have to include that with my payment?
- The Convenience Fee is the amount that PayPal is charging the Shul to process your transaction. This has been set up as "optional" and is not required. However, paying the Convenience Fee will be much appreciated since it will defray the Shul's payment processing costs. As a courtesy, the Convenience Fee is not being displayed for Donations, for obvious reasons, although a fee is being paid by the Shul even for Donations
If I have some suggestions for additional content on the site or notice an issue, who do I contact?
- Just fill out the Contact Us form. Please include your name and email address. We will gratefully acknowledge receipt and will log your suggestion or issue on an open items tracking list for follow up.
Why are my family members also receiving billing statements?
- When you add a member, the system automatically will sets the permissions tab for Member that is being added, with the standard defaults. 1) Member can Admin his/her Acct = No, Member can do own Billing = No and Member can Login = Yes. If the second setting, “Member can do their own Billing” is manually set to Yes, that indicates to the system that you want him/her to also receive billing statements. Ideally, leave the standard defaults in place.
Why should we bother to update our profiles with our Yor Tzeit information?
- When you log into your Shul account, as a personal reminder, your Shul Calendar will automatically highlight the appropriate days of all Yor Tzeit’s in your family's profile. Note: It does this for birthday’s as well. Of course, this only displays on your personal Calendar. In addition, the Gabbi module will provide the Gabboim with a listing of upcoming Yor Tzeits for the purpose of aliyas and cheiuvim for Tefillah.
